Hello, I’m Amanda Jayne.

My Story - From Burnt Out to Reclaimed

​​​​​​Hi, I’m Amanda Jayne — a qualified Functional Nutritionist (BHSc - Nutritional Medicine), Somatic Therapy Practitioner, and mum of two toddlers who are 18 months apart.

But before I was any of those things, I was a corporate professional, partying too much and navigating a body that constantly felt out of sync — exhausted, inflamed, and silently screaming for help.
In my late 20s, I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s Syndrome and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Amenorrhea. My dreams of having a family were threatened, I was chronically unwell, utterly exhausted, and told to “manage it” with pharmaceuticals — advice that felt surface-level and disconnected.
 
No one explained how nutrition and lifestyle factors, in particular stress, gut health, and nervous system dysregulation, could be driving my symptoms.
So I became the expert I needed.
I studied functional nutrition. I explored mind-body healing, somatics, and yoga. I stopped pushing through and started listening inward. Through years of intentional healing, I overcame all my conditions.

And then life threw another curveball.
After my two cesarians and the birth of my second child, I experienced postnatal depression and developed a post-surgical nerve condition (ACNES). I was sleep-deprived, in pain, and found myself back in burnout.
Even with all my training in health science, I felt like I was constantly chasing symptoms and recurring injuries. I didn’t want to push through anymore — I wanted to actually feel well.
But this time, I had the tools.
This time, I didn’t ignore the signs.
I started tuning into what my body was trying to tell me.
And that’s when everything changed.
The Turning Point: Healing Through Integration
 
It became crystal clear that no single strategy-not nutrition alone, not supplements, not yoga, not therapy-could fix burnout in isolation.
 
What I needed was integration.
So I brought it all together — my background in Functional Nutrition, Health Science, Somatic Therapy, nervous system regulation, and the ancient wisdom from my Tantric Hatha Yoga training.
This is the approach that rebuilt me from the inside out.

And now, it’s what I offer to you!

I believe healing isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters.
 
It's not just about 'discipline' or being 'perfect' — you need to be supported!
